The Gepe Group was established in Sweden in 1955 to produce photographic products such as slide mounts and other accessories.
Since then Gepe have established manufacturing plants also in Germany together with distribution companies in major markets, which has made Gepe the largest supplier of plastic slide mounts in the World.

During 1992 Gepe started to diversify into other markets and fields of activities with the acquisition of Sterisol AB, the market leader in Scandinavia for hand cleansing and hygiene in work places, which has distribution companies in Finland, Denmark and England.
In 1994 further expansion and diversification resulted in the foundation of a highly skilled injection moulding and contract manufacturing business area when two Swedish companies Cenova AB and Hägnander & Larsson AB were purchased. Hägnander & Larsson was later sold a few years ago.
Current developments have included the creation and launch of the cable management division, with the manufacture and production of the revolutionary Q-tie cable tie and accessories, within the Swedish and German plants.
Today the Gepe Group is an international and diversified industrial organisation with 9 companies situated within 6 countries.
The group is organised into specific business areas in order to allow the best possible focus on operations.
Externally, each of the business areas has their own products and customer target areas, however, within the group they operate with and for each other in various ways.
The central activity is injection moulding to which all the business areas are connected in one way or another, which results in some of the manufacturing companies supplying more than one business area.
